The combination of objective lens and coatings produces bright and clear high-contrast views with improved color representation. A large oversized objective lens provides the immense light-gathering ability required to keep views crisp and bright when viewing small targets at extreme long range on maximum magnification, and to enhance the view Meopta employs their proprietary MeoBright multi-coatings to the lenses to maximize light transmission and suppress glare. This "Dichro" version of the Optika 6 features an illumination system that uses the available ambient light to perfectly illuminate key parts of the reticle and automatically changes the color from red to green to provide the best contrast and clarity. Capped low-profile turrets keep dust and debris from fouling the adjustment mechanism, and with 1/4 MOA impact point correction and a wide 70 MOA windage and elevation adjustment range you can get on-target with speed and precision. A large 30mm main tube is employed to withstand the rigors of recoil, and the housing is made of aluminum with a scratch-resistant low-reflectivity matte black anodized finish. The housing is also nitrogen-filled to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging in extreme conditions and temperatures.
