The Ruger Precision rifle is purpose built to distance itself from the typical Long-range rifle.

The in-line recoil path on this 338 Lapua manages recoil directly from the rear of the receiver to the buttstock, not through a traditional bedding system, providing maximum accuracy potential. A Cold hammer-forged, chrome-moly steel barrel with 5R Rifling for extreme accuracy. Three lug bolt with 70 degree throw, fully adjustable stock, 20 MOA Picatinny rail with # 8-40 screws, and a Free floating Aluminum handguard with M-Lok slots round out this feature rich rifle.

338 Lapua Magnum provides plenty of down range power.

• 26" Heavy-contour barrel features a Ruger Precision Rifle Magnum Muzzle Brake tunable compensator. 
• Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger is externally adjustable, with a trigger pull range of 2.25 to 5 pounds.

• Cold hammer-forged, chrome-moly steel barrel with 5R Rifling.
